FLASHBACK – That time when I had the pleasure of interviewing legendary coach, Arsene Wenger…

He is the man responsible for revolutionizing English football. He arrived to the Premier League with a forward-thinking style and he built the idea of what a modern day player should be through enhanced nutrition, mental conditioning, endurance training and overall well-being. Mr.Wenger was ahead of his time. A trailblazer. A mindful manager and thinker.

Being in the same room with the French football professor was a thrill. He’s on the GOAT list. He’s a game-changer. And I got to ask him a question…and he offered me a job! The magic of football.

For the Love of Arsenal

It’s Friday, which means a wee flashback. Sharing the poem I had written in Arsene Wenger’s last season. Has much changed since this poem was written? Not sure.

I believe in, Unai Emery…for now! If he wins the Europa League Final, it will certainly make up for some of the pain caused in our Premier League collapse. It was all there for the taking and we missed huge opportunities. Our defense still so weak.

So I ask you Arsenal fans…has anything changed since Wenger departed?

No matter how Arsene Wenger’s time ends at Arsenal, there is no doubt he will go down as the greatest manager the club has ever seen. Despite not winning the Premier League title for 14 years, the recent FA Cup success has eased the blow when it comes to lack of English championships.

Meeting Mr.Wenger in Los Angeles was an absolute treat. He’s a classy individual who is very charismatic and friendly with the media. When I had the chance to ask him a question, I made it count!
