Football Frenemies. Arsenal v Tottenham. Antony Costa from Blue…

The series where we talk about the beautiful game with people we love, but who support teams we hate. On this episode of Football Frenemies, we welcome Antony Costa from the award-winning and massively successful British band, Blue.

Antony grew up in a predominantly Arsenal infused community of North London. Despite the Arsenal’s neighbourhood noise, Antony discovered another team just a few miles down the road, Tottenham Hotspur. He is a fierce Spurs fan who once refused to wear red on stage and passionately dislikes the Arsenal.

Antony and Sophie have appeared on a couple of episodes of Sky Sports Early Kick-Off together and it has been nothing short of frenemy fire! Will she go in two-footed, studs up on, Antony? Or will Antony deliver the final blow to Sophie? Get stuck in. Have your voice heard behind frenemy lines.

There Are Two Sides to Every Story & Then There’s the Arsenal Truth…

Sophie is back from Europe & ready to talk about what has transpired in the media & across the Arsenal fan base since the Tottenham & Newcastle losses.

There is no doubt it’s turning out to be a brutal end to the season for the Gunners. Folks have differing opinions on what has transpired. But why can’t Arsenal fans accept an opposing viewpoint? Since when did we stop hearing each other? Is football a mirror image of popular culture and the political landscape? Come prepared for an honest take. Be prepared for some serious truth serum.

Appearance…Sky Sports News Early Kick-Off

Absolutely love the opportunity to appear on Sky Sports News and this time it was especially epic as I got to do an entire half-hour show with the Early Kick-Off team.

This was a great football conversation with some engaging exchanges, in particular when talking Tottenham. Never a dull moment having a light jab at the North London enemy.

Thank you again to the Sky Sports team for having me.

Appearance on Sky Sports News Early Kick-Off…

Sophie was up at 5.00am in Los Angeles for a Sky Sports News appearance alongside Spurs YouTuber, Chris Cowlin. This was an honest football conversation and very respectful from both sides of North London.

With that said, we do love how the Highbury Squad host got the trophy dig in when the Harry Kane saga came up. Absolute gold. Well done Soph! Take a listen here. Enjoy!

The One With Jack Wilshere…

Jack Wilshere is one of the Arsenal’s most beloved sons. But for his injuries, he could’ve become an absolute great. Despite the challenges he faced, when he did pull that shirt on he always wore it with pride and love. He knew what it meant to play for a club like the Arsenal. Over the years, he’s been able to share his Gunners wisdom and has become an inspiration to today’s Hale End lads, including, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe.

You will not want to miss this conversation with Super Jack & Super Kev. This is a very candid look at what was and what could’ve been. It doesn’t get much better than this! Nuff said…just take a listen!
