We heart football…

This is a short post. This is a very sincere and quick fire thank you to the beautiful game from Fans United.

Even after we’ve been shined on ticket prices, even after we’ve overpaid for booze and food all season, even after we’ve bought another home kit jersey, and even after we’ve been robbed by the referee (again), we heart you football. And we will always heart you.

Fans United accept the game for all that it is. We do so because we love everything about it. The victory. The defeat. The passion. The banter. The despair. The euphoria. The silky smooth skills. We eat it. We live for it. We heart you. Thank you football for another great season. We’ll be back for more of the same again…

  1. not to sure about ‘more of the same’ this season made my heart hurt. Sometimes good but towards the end..BAD. Looking forward to watching the transfer window, no doubt QPR will be out to buy all our players *ur just a fake tottenham hotspur* and so it begins!

    Thanks football..is it August yet?!

  2. Looking forward to August, but just before it comes, I am very interested in the transfer market more so than ever.

As we all know how much of a crazy season this was, with the top four having the chance to really run away with it and giving up leads and not taking advantage of closing gaps and having slow starts or fast starts. Rumours have already begun, Modric linked with United heavily, Nasri linked with a move because he hasn’t signed a contract.

We most definitely will have more of the same plus more next season weather we like it or not. It will be one hell of a 2011-12!

  3. How about ‘Arry’s self promotion to get the Chelsea gig?

If you lose Modric, then do you lose Van der Vaart and Bale?

Nasri should look at what happened to most players when they thought they were ready to leave Arsenal…

Chelsea will probably be the biggest buying club in England this summer. They need a lot more than City don’t you think? Either way, let the crazy merry-go-round begin.

  4. ‘Arry has stated his top four (modric, bale, vdv and sandro) are not going anywhere and i think I believe him, end of the season I thought Bale will definetly leave but I have faith in our ‘Arry. I have a feeling Spurs will only be getting stronger. I am always the spurs fan that is persermistic about my team but this year I actually feel confident, what’s happened?! I’m thinking Berbatov back to Spurs? Parker to Arsenal Id say? and well who gives a toss about the rest. Bring on 2011-2012!
